21/5 We Have the keys!!!

well we finally have our keys. the house is a mess at the moment as the ceiling guys were putting in a bulkhead they missed this morning. the painters are in tomorrow to put 2 coats on the ceiling and the cleaners are following them at 12pm. The moving company arrives at our flat at 2pm so tomorrow will be a very busy day for our new house.



well it took 6 weeks for them to do it and on the day we got the keys they finally put my 25c recess bulk head in!!
here you go Geoff the kitchen bulkhead is finally done properly!

still waiting for that red splashback under the range hood. sometime this week they tell us.

First Inspection

Well we had the first inspection on wednesday 7/5 and it went very well. The supervisor was a nice guy and nothing was too much trouble. We only had a few issues and most of those were with the ceiling which they've started to fix up that day, it was already looking much better. So we pick up the keys on wednesday 21/5 and we can't wait

Update 25/4

well the house is almost done. Just waiting for the ceiling contractors to come in and fix thier mistakes and the carpet and Lino to go down and hopefully we'll have our final inspection next week sometime.
